MLLP director Dr. Alfons Juan will be at the UNESCO-sponsored Internet of Education Conference 2015 in Sarajevo on 18 September to deliver a keynote speech on language technologies for education.
Last week, Prof. Laurent Heutte (Univ. de Rouen & LITIS research laboratory) visited the MLLP to exchange ideas and discuss possible future collaborations.
The MLLP was represented at IN-RED 2015, the 1st Spanish National Conference on Educational Innovation and Online Teaching, by Juan Daniel Valor Miró, who presented his work on user revisions of automatic video transcriptions and translations.
MLLP researcher Ihab Khoury defended successfully today his PhD thesis on “Arabic Text Recognition and Machine Translation“ at the Universitat Politècnica de València’s Department of Computer Systems and Computation.
