MLLP researchers present today at the ongoing IEEE ICASSP 2020 conference two articles on Spoken Language Translation and Streaming ASR. Watch our presentations online and submit your questions!
The IEEE’s 45th International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP 2020), is the world’s largest technical conference on signal processing and its applications (including automatic speech recognition and other fields of natural language processing), is being held this week online as a virtual conference. ICASSP is a high-impact international conference, with a CORE B ranking.
The articles “Europarl-ST: A Multilingual Corpus for Speech Translation of Parliamentary Debates” and “LSTM-Based One-Pass Decoder for Low-Latency Streaming“, by Javier Iranzo, Javier Jorge and other MLLP researchers, were accepted for publication at ICASSP 2020.
Both articles are scheduled for presentation today, Friday 8 May. As such, the presentations for both articles will be available on demand online for the whole day. You can also submit questions on the topics of the articles that our MLLP colleagues will gladly answer. Just follow these links to reach the presentations and the Q&A on demand:
- LSTM-BASED ONE-PASS DECODER FOR LOW-LATENCY STREAMING (J. Jorge et al.)
- EUROPARL-ST: A MULTILINGUAL CORPUS FOR SPEECH TRANSLATION OF PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES (J. Iranzo-Sánchez et al.)
You can also find the abstracts and the full articles in our previous news post on ICASSP 2020.
We hope you find our presentations interesting, and we look forward to your questions!
