The MLLP is participating in the International Workshop on Spoken Language Translation (IWSLT) 2015, which will take place on 3–4 December in Da Nang, Vietnam. The MLLP will present ASR results obtained with internally developed technology (the MLLP’s TLK toolkit for speech recognition).
The article “Efficiency and usability study of innovative computer-aided transcription strategies for video lecture repositories“, by Juan Daniel Valor Miró and other MLLP members, has been published in the November 2015 volume of Elsevier’s Speech Communication journal.
MLLP member Juan Daniel Valor Miró will be at the European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning 2015 in Toledo on 15–18 September to present the MLLP platform and the MLLP’s work on “Efficient generation of high-quality multilingual subtitles for video lecture repositories“.
The MLLP was represented at IN-RED 2015, the 1st Spanish National Conference on Educational Innovation and Online Teaching, by Juan Daniel Valor Miró, who presented his work on user revisions of automatic video transcriptions and translations.
