Members of ATiT (Belgium) and the Universitat Politècnica de València’s MLLP group will be in Graz (Austria) on 22–24 February representing the EU project EMMA at the European MOOCs Stakeholders Summit EMOOCs 2016. They will participate in the panel “European support services for developing MOOCs”.
EMOOCs 2016, the 4th European MOOCs Stakeholders Summit, will be held on 22–24 February 2016 in Graz (Austria). Organised by the University of Graz and Graz University of Technology, the event aims to be an opportunity to gather worldwide actors involved in the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) phenomenon, from policy makers to practitioners and researchers. The conference will include four tracks: the Research Track, the Experience Track, the Institutional & Corporate Track and a special Flipped Conference MOOC-Track.
ATiT‘s Sally Reynolds and the MLLP’s Gonçal Garcés will contribute to the Institutional Track in the panel session “European support services for developing MOOCs“, as representatives of the EU project EMMA. In this panel, representatives from seven different MOOC-related projects will show already available services to develop MOOCs at low cost, pedagogical models, translation services, training to develop MOOCs, and business models for institutions, also in relation to sustainability after project lifetime. In particular, the MLLP will present their automatic transcription and translation technologies for MOOCs. The panel will take place on Tuesday 23 February, at 11:00 a.m.
